COLD CHAIN LOGISTICS

TIME AND TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE SHIPMENTS

WuliuAir provides cold chain logistics and temperature-controlled transportation for temperature-sensitive shipments, with experience in handling pharmaceutical, medical and food products. We understand the specific requirements of pharmaceutical logistics and other temperature-sensitive cargo, including the different regulations and temperature requirements that may apply depending on the product and destination.

Our team has completed IATA training in the handling of time- and temperature-sensitive shipments, giving us practical knowledge and experience in managing temperature-controlled cargo from preparation to delivery.

We are also the official THERMOCON, a German brand, representative in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, providing validated passive temperature-controlled packaging solutions for a range of temperature requirements. THERMOCON systems can be used for the safe transport of pharmaceuticals, medical products, food and other temperature-sensitive goods.

To ensure reliable temperature protection, we regularly test and evaluate our packaging solutions in-house using real-time temperature sensors and data loggers. This helps us verify that the required temperature conditions can be maintained throughout the shipment.

From packaging and shipment preparation to transportation and delivery, we take care of the key aspects of cold chain logistics to keep your temperature-sensitive cargo protected throughout its journey.

COLD CHAIN PACKING TECHNOLOGIES

DRY ICE

Dry ice, made of solid carbon dioxide, can keep pharmaceuticals, dangerous goods, and foodstuffs frozen (from -18 °C) or deep frozen (from -29 °C) long enough to safely reach the destination. Products are packed with dry ice in special insulated boxes. It is necessary to consider that dry ice does not melt, instead, it sublimates in contact with air.

GEL AND ICE PACKS

Gel and ice packs are used for pharmaceutical and medical shipments that are classified as chilled products, which means they must be stored in a temperature range between 2 and 8°C.

REEFER

WuliuAir offers a pick-up and distribution service with temperature-controlled vans, which can keep cargo temperature from -18°C up to 25°C.

SPECIAL STORAGE AREAS

Shipments that require +18+25°C can be easily transported by air without special temperature control because usually, aircraft keep “room temperature” all the time. If necessary, refrigerated vans can take cargo to and from the airport. Before and after a flight, cargo can be kept in cold storage areas at the airport.

ADVANCED PACKAGING SOLUTIONS

Parcel shippers

Ideal for smaller, more delicate shipments.

Advanced insulation to maintain stable temperatures for sensitive products (+2+8ºC or +15+25ºC) .

Perfect for pharmaceuticals, laboratory samples, and high-value perishables.

Pallet shippers

Tailored for larger cargo needs.

Maintains consistent temperature ranges, ensuring product integrity during transit.

Suitable for pharmaceuticals, food products, and other temperature-sensitive goods on a larger scale.

Insulated boxes

Well suited for shipping foodstuffs due to its low weight and excellent insulating properties.

Approved for direct contact with foodstuffs.

Filled with dry ice, they can keep products at the required temperature for up to 72 hours.

Thermal blankets

Versatile and easy-to-use solution for a variety of cargo sizes.

Provides an extra layer of protection against temperature fluctuations.

An economical choice for less sensitive products requiring temperature management.
